Howdy fellas!

As title says i've started to paint a miniature that i've been workin on for some time. It is a nice feeling to hold your brush and make strokes once again. Last time i've been painting was like.. a month or month and a half ago. Right before i started to paint i was in serch of what kind of colour scheme should i choose: the light one (as i lated WD) or the dark one (as they did in FW).

Light one seems to be a lot more easier to me: couple of grey highlightings and two more washes with green wash.

I've almost finished working on current project. I will start painting in a week or two, depends if i will get compressor and new paints, hope it won't take too much time.

It's been busy week for me, even at weekend i got to go to work.. but it is all over and here i am with couple of shots of ongoing project.

It's been a while ince my last post, but i can asure you that it doesn't mean that i am slacking for the sake of slack. I've got some work to do at work.))
Anyways, here i am once again and will try to post once or twice a week. For all this tike that i've been working i figured out some future projects i would like to share 'em with you as soon as i will get my hands on it.

Good news, Everyone!

I've done my latest project, which was true-scale Space Marine. It dosen't have any markings for now, but as soon as i will figure out which chapter it will be i will show it right away. It was kinda tough project, i've been stragling with armour and re-painted it, but overall i am quite happy about how it went. Also i've tried new brushes "W&N Series 7" and can can asure you, that i love 'em.

Long time no posts..
I've been quite busy last week, but still was able to paint. Furthermore, i've actualy repainted the whole armour for this marine, the first version was too dark. Sorry fow bad shot, kinda in a hurry in the morning. :P

Good news Everyone!

The painting process have started and here is a very first shot.

The paint, on the background, is the one that i've been using: brown for shades, red for base color and orange for highlights.

Just want to share with you some information about the project that i am working right now.
I've made some adjustments to leg pose, wasn't satisfied with the previouse one. Also i've almost finished the rest of green-stuff work and hope to share some more pictures with you with the next post.

Me and my pal at work been trash talking like a month ago and he told me that his son actualy love skeletons and zombies. I've told him that there are couple of miniatures that his son might like and that i can paint it. I've showed him VC lords and heroes models and he've picked Lord of Undeath.

As you can see, it is wall to wall table, which gives you alot of space to make piles of usefull and not that much stuff on it, like on the right half :P
In the middle it is where i paint miniatures and to the left is monitor of my pc, which provides me with music backgroud while i am in the mood :)

Anyways, i've been following a blog of a gifted artist. Recently he've started a project about Chaos Space Marines in a true-art-scale. I am a big devotee about 'em. In my humble opinion, this artist have managed to achive a high goal on his prokect and at making true-scale CSMs.

How not to get bored of painting swarm army.

Hello everyone!

For such armys like skaven, orcs, goblins, space orKz and tyranids is pain in 5th point of your body to be able to paint 'em all and not to get crazy or sick of some colours or even give up to actualy play this army.
I know a guy who by the time he got painted his skaven army have been mumbling "rats, rats, rats everywhere!" for a month or two.
As of me, the very trick to not to get cought by such a disaster is to make some variation to your painting schem, may be alter skin tone, make it lighter or darker or just complitely different colour like they are using war-paints or something.
